Hi friends,
Today I am excited to share another Sweetheart Quilt sample with you, this is the Bella Solids Version and it is the first quilt I will be offering kits of in my shop! This version is the cover quilt used in my Sweetheart PDF and Printed pattern so it will be easy to make following along with the color images and instructions in the pattern. I am a HUGE fan of Moda Bells Solids, the feel - the quality - and the ease of sewing curves with the material. I decided it was a perfect choice to my first round of kits!

The Sweetheart Quilt is my newest modern quilt pattern that features large hearts and a minimalist design. There are multiple layouts and sizes and for this one I used the Multi Hearts Yardage layout in the small throw size that measures 60" x 60".

Backing: I used an all cotton sheet from Target that I have been holding onto - its from the kids department (be careful bc there are a lot of cotton blend and microfiber sheets here). It's a fun sprinkles pattern that have several of the same colors.

Binding: I used the Petunia shade of Bella solids for my binding.

Quilting:

For this quilt I did a simple 1" spaced straight line vertically across the quilt top. I used a white thread that matched the background off white fabric and that blended in nicely with my backing material.
