Today I am excited to share another Sweetheart Quilt sample with you, this is the Two Color Hearts Version. The Two Color version is actually the original quilt design for the Sweetheart quilt - the multi hearts yardage and fat quarter layouts came later in the design process. I love the simplicity of the heart layout on the two color version and the bold look that the red and pink give on the bright white background.
The Sweetheart Quilt is my newest modern quilt pattern that features large hearts and a minimalist design. There are multiple layouts and sizes and for this one I used the Two Color Hearts layout in the large throw size that measures 60" x 80".

Fabric Information:
Two Color Hearts: for this large throw I chose two solids from Moda fabrics Bella solids collection and a solid for the background.
Heart fabrics: Bella Solids

- I cannot for the life of me find where I bought this fabric and who it is by!
You can also plan out your colors + fabrics using Pre-Quilt! I have all sizes of the Sweetheart quilt in the two color and multi hearts yardage layouts available to mock up.
Quilting:
For this one - my friend Lilo of Trace Creek Quilting and the panto is called Rainbow Hearts. I absolutely love a baptist fan pattern and when I saw one that incorporated hearts it was an instant yes!
She used a beautiful light pink thread that worked out beautifully on all of the colors in the quilt.
