Hi friends,
Today I am sharing another sample of my latest quilt pattern Ripple - this time we have the two color version in the baby size! This version of the Ripple quilt was created using two of the Bella solids I used in the cover multi color version, found here. I love how you can really change the look of the quilt with just two colors!

Layout + Fabrics:
Ripple is a yardage friendly quilt pattern meaning that it's not super pre-cut friendly (you could make this using Fat Quarters - the cuts in the pattern will allow for this - I do not have full instructions for this included). This particular quilt uses the two color layout, I chose solids for this quilt but you can also choose a fun non-directional print to make things a bit more fun if you like!
I love the minimalist look of the two color layout and how the flow works on the baby quilt layout. This one comes together so quickly too - you can make a baby quilt top in an afternoon.

Quilting:
For the quilting I knew I would be quilting this one myself and decided that a fun wave stitch on my Janome 6700p would be perfect! This is one of my favorite quilting stitches to do, its as simple as quilting a straight line using the walking foot as a guide. I feel like its a perfect match for the quilt design as well!

I used a light aqua thread that matched the Spray Bella solid and love how it looks against the darker Lagoon shade and even the black and white starry background!
