Today I am sharing a project that is actually multiple projects in one post - Ranges pattern pillow pairs in Nocturne Chambray by Fableism.
The Ranges Quilt pattern had a bit of a glow up this last year - I released an updated version of this modern mountain inspired quilt pattern with additional quilt sizes, two templates and a pillow pattern included. The pillow pattern is actually a pillow pairs pattern - that means you have instructions for a pair of pillows - that have the Ranges scene across the two pillows when they are side by side.
My favorite part of the pillow pairs pattern is that it only takes 5 fat quarters to make the fronts of the pillow pair - so its easy to whip up with just a bit of fabric for the front of the pillows.
Fabric Information:
I was sent this amazing stack of Nocturne Chambray by Fabelism last August - its a 20 FQ set of beautiful chambray fabrics. Everyday Chambray is one of Fableisms woven fabrics and the Nocturne collection is the "moody sister" to the Everyday Chambray collection. It's made with a blend of bamboo and cotton fibers that gives the Chambray an incredibly soft hand. There is a black yarn undercurrent to the colors so it really gives off a darker moodier palette.
When I was trying to figure out what project to make with the fabrics I was just finishing up the Ranges pattern and thought it might be fun to make a pillow pair using five of the fabrics, I started dividing up the colors and realized I had just enough to make a seasonal set - Spring / Summer / Fall and Winter.
