The Hexie Pillow pattern is a great way to use scraps or mini charm packs and create a fun modern quilt project in pillow form.

Hey Boo is a line by Lella Boutique for Moda fabrics that came out last year but is still as cute as ever. I was lucky to find a mini charm pack a couple of months ago online. Click on links below to shop and make one of your own!

- Black Essex linen from Robert Kaufman for background of pillow front
- Black on White Swiss Dots Yardage for envelope backing and binding by Riley Blake Designs
I quilted this using a black cotton thread - I usually like to stick with thread that matches the fabric used on the background behind the hexies.
