Hi friends,
Let's keep the Tiny Frights fabric party moving right along with another project - this one created with my Checker Quilt scraps -a pair of Hexie Pillows! Tiny Frights is a line from Ruby Star Society that came out last year (2023) and is an adorable collection of Halloween images - but tiny! *tiny prints are the BEST for hexies!
The Hexie Pillow pattern is a great way to use scraps leftover from larger projects. If you love the pillows - you can find them both here in my shop for purchase!

Materials used:
Modern Hexie Pillow PDF or Printed Pattern
This pillow was created using scraps from my Checker Quilt - Tiny Frights Version, click here to see that blog post and see the fabrics used listed with links to purchase some.
If you want to take the easy route - you can also grab a mini charm pack of the Tiny Frights line here. Mini charm packs are usually my go to for Modern Hexie projects because they are the right size for the 1" hexie forms I use, are affordable and contain the entire fabric collection!
For my background I used a Black Essex Linen.
For my Backing I used a fun cotton Halloween print that I used on a quilt back a few years ago - sadly I do not remember the name of the line.
As an alternative yardage of one of the Tiny Frights fabrics would be perfect!
Additional Hexie Pillow Photos:
Since there are two pillows, the same fabrics were used for each pillow but in slightly different layouts.
.... and of course, Pepper had to hop in for at least one photo and show off what almost appears to be a smile!
Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
You can find this pillow cover for sale in my shop below or if you would like to make your own - the PDF and Printed Pattern.
