Hi friends,
Today I am sharing another version of the Frosty quilt - my newest holiday pattern - this time in beautiful Bella solids by Moda fabrics.
Frosty is a row by row, traditionally pieced holiday quilt with a modern look.

I knew that I wanted to do a version in solids and thought a pastel palette would be a fun addition to my samples. I tend to use a brighter colorful palette for my holiday decorations so this will be a fun one to bring out every holiday.
Frosty pattern includes a link to download and print a coloring sheet to help you plan out the colors on your quilt, full color instructions row by row, and printable cutting tags to help keep your cut pieces in order.
It is all traditionally pieced - squares, rectangles and half square triangles and does include a very easy to sew template for the carrot nose (not paper pieced, just sew together after cutting out shapes).

Quilting Details
To add some amazing texture I knew this classic quilting pattern would look amazing!
My quilter Heather Alexander of HAndmade Longarm Quilting quilted this for me using this Baptist Fan panto.
The curves compliment the straight lines and sharp edges of the block patterns.
Finished cover quilt images
Here are some finished photos of the quilt! I love how the gifts row looks folded up on the end of the bed when not in use.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today friends! There are some images below if you would like to Pin to Pinterest and save for later.
Happy sewing!
