Hi friends,
I thought it might be fun to share with you all my finished quilt tops from the Dot + Dashalong!
There was the main quilt I made using fat quarters and kept with a rainbow color flow like the pattern cover quilt, and a couple of quilts that I made using a jelly roll.
Dot + Dash / Dream Version
Dream is by Kristy Lea for Riley Blake Designs, and is the perfect for those looking for a really fun rainbow fabric. I loved the little clouds with hearts, the heart circles and the hidden hearts in the dotted fabric.
Dot + Dash / Twilight Version
Twilight is by One Canoe Two for Moda Fabrics. It has a softer palette and features some beautiful florals, moths, fireflies, and more graphic shapes like triangles and x’s.
Dot + Dash / More Paper Version
Last but not least is the More Paper version by Zen Chic for Moda Fabrics. This quilt is also a scrappy version where I used a Jelly Roll with a fun Black Essex Linen by Robert Kaufman as the background. I love how this is such a gender neutral quilt - perfect for any home!
Now it’s time to figure out my backing fabric - do I stick with quilting cotton or go crazy and use some soft cuddle fabric on a couple of these….
If you would like to make your own Dot + Dash quilt you can find the pattern here.
I will share each quilt individually once I have the chance to quilt them, thanks so much for reading the blog today!
Happy sewing friends!
