Hi friends, we made it to the halfway point, it’s week 4 of the Dot + Dashalong!
This week we are seeing our fabric combinations really come to life as we add the next group of fabrics, fabrics 4 - 5 - 6.
If you are going scrappy you will be sewing up the following blocks:

(5) 2.5” Blocks

(1) 4.5” Block

(2) 10.5” Blocks
Blocks for Fabrics 4 - 5 - 6
If you are working with specific fabrics for fabrics labeled 4 - 5 - 6, we will be sewing those into a total of 8 blocks this week. I am working down the rainbow line and have my yellow and green fabrics this week.
Scrappy Blocks
For those who are using a Jelly Roll or scraps you are working on 8 total blocks as well:

(2) 10.5” Blocks
Last week I discussed how I like to lay out my fabrics and how to go about placing them to make them scrappy. You can choose to place your fabrics this week by looking at last weeks blocks as a reference on color and print placement if it helps.
I have my scrappy blocks finished ahead of time in case it helps to see how my placement looks, this was totally random and flows well, even if there are similar colors near each other. Later adding the sashing will help break up the look as well.
Once you have all of your blocks completed and spread out in your layout, you can go and rotate blocks, or move them to make the colors flow well.

Next week we will start on blocks 7 - 8 - 9, and be super close to the finish line!
