Hi friends,
Trying to get back on track with blogging and sharing some projects from the past few months after this move that has seriously slowed me down. Today's share is actually my "after market" project. Every year after Quilt Market I try to make a small project with some of the free swag that they hand out at some of the booths. My favorite is always over at Carolyn Friedlander's booth, not only is the display always a treat, sometimes if you are lucky she has some mini charms of her new line.
This mini quilt was created using two mini charm packs of her new Carkai line for Robert Kaufman. I love love love the colors in this line and look forward to saving up to purchase enough to make a quilt for my bed. The combination of feminine pinks and peaches with the saturated blues and greens are just a huge hit in my opinion, and I love how they mix together so well.
Enjoy some pics of the finished mini quilt. Once I can get my act together to actually open up my shop again, this one will be for sale.
If you would like to make a project like this of your own - you can find all the instructions and video "how to" in the Hexie Pillow pattern found here.
Thanks for stopping by today friends!
