Hi friends,
I am back with another new Hexie Pillow that I made over summer break - this one using Firefly by Sarah Watts for Ruby Star Society!
The Hexie Pillow pattern is a great way to use a mini charm pack or small pieces and scraps left over from larger projects.
If you love the pillow and want to take it home - you can find the Firefly Hexie Pillow cover here in my shop!
Materials used:
Modern Hexie Pillow PDF or Printed Pattern.
This pillow was created using a mini charm pack (square cuts of fabric that measure 2.5" square and usually come in packs of 42, this is a great way to create something using the entire fabric line on a budget).
You can shop for this Firefly mini charm pack here.
For the background I used a solid black cotton.
For the envelope backing I found yardage of another of Sarah Watts fabric that had the same color teal / aqua as Firefly - this print is from her Birthday line.
Binding - I had some leftover binding from a previous pillow that I made, that ended up being a perfect match. This fabric is Spackle Newsprint by Carrie Bloomston for Windham Fabrics.

Happy sewing!
