I am so excited to share some bright and fun new pillows! Riley Blake Designs invited me to be a part of the Quilt it Modern Blog Tour featuring their new solids - Confetti Cottons! Solids are my favorite to work with and I wanted to pair some colors I wouldn't normally pair up but really look sharp together - Red and bright pink / Bright green and teal. I also found this to be a perfect opportunity to make some samples of my new pattern Hexie Pillow - you can find the pattern here!

For my stitching I used Aurifil thread in a teal and bright red that were the perfect match.
The solids were so great to work with. They had a really nice smooth and soft feel and the thickness was perfect. The colors are very vibrant as well, don't you love a good red?
