Hi friends! Today I am super pumped to tell you some exciting news - I am a Janome Artisan! What this means is that I am test driving a Memory Craft 9400 machine, quite the upgrade from my Memory Craft 6500P.
I will be sharing free tutorials over on the Janome America website, along with fun projects here on my blog, as well as tips and tricks on how to use the machine to the fullest extent.
So far, it's an absolute dream to sew with. It has a similar feel to my older machine, but its quieter, faster, and has SO many more useful features.
To start things off - my project Quilted Advent Calendar is available here and is a fun and fast project that is great for the beginner quilter.
You will be working with your basic straight line quilting, a zig zag stitch for appliqué and binding your finished project. What I love about this project is how customizable it is as well - make it for any holiday tradition that you have, Christmas - Hanukkah - Kwanzaa - or even a fun countdown to New Year's Day!
I hope you enjoy this project, and I look forward to sharing some more fun free tutorials with you in the coming months.
Thanks for stopping by friends!
