Hi friends!

If you follow along on instagram – well you have probably seen what I have been up to. I have been a little hexagon obsessed lately and I am currently working on the mother of all colorful hexie projects – the entire Robert Kaufman Kona solid collection all 303 of them!

Sharing a peek of the progress so far. I am still trying to decide how I am going to do the layout of the quilt – in a square formation or spread out diagonal across the front similar to some of my mini quilts.

Enjoy the rainbow!

Looking forward to sharing some more progress on this project soon!

Wow – those look amazing. Did you only make one hexie per colour? And how did you get all 303 fabrics?

  2. This pics make me so deliriously happy. 303 Kona hexies… I’m feeling so inspired that I may need to get to work on some kind of an epic Kona project myself. I too am curious to find out how you got all the colours… my stash is considerable, but I don’t think I’m anywhere near hitting the 303 mark!

Your photos are stunning. That circle one could easily serve as a big print hung on a wall. Can’t wait to see what you will make with all those hexies.

they look so lovely all together. If that was a hexi project complete, I might have a go, it’s the thought of sewing them all together that gets me!

I would love to hear from you, let's chat!
