Wait, is this a repeat post? Well, it pretty much is, but now I actually have my binding on so I can finally enter it! I shared this mini quilt with you all just the other day – or the last post if you want to scroll down (there is a tutorial attached). This was a quilt that I was inspired to make after my trip home from the Spring Quilt Market in Pittsburgh using a mini charm pack that Carolyn Friedlander had given me. I knew that I wanted to whip up something for the Blogger’s Quilt Festival so the timing was perfect! I had a hard time deciding what category to place it in [ Modern / Applique / Home Machine Quilted / Original Design / Scrappy ] because it could really fall into any of these I guess but it truly is a Mini so that is the category I decided on.
- Measures 22″ x 16″
- 2″ pieced Hexagons
- Carolyn Friendlander favorites mini charm pack from Robert Kaufman
- Background, backing and binding fabric – Kona Snow by Robert Kaufman
- Thread – Aurifil 50 wt color 2024
- Batting – Warm and Natural Cotton
Thanks for stopping by friends and be sure to check out all of the wonderful quilts in every category!
