Wee Gallery Safari Quilt for Dear Stella

Wee Gallery Safari Quilt for Dear Stella
April 25, 2014 nicole

Hi friends! Excited to share with you a quilt that I have been spending a lot of time with the past few weeks – my Safari Triangle quilt for Dear Stella’s new line with Wee Gallery – Wild!

I have been wanting to make a large triangle quilt for some time, and needed to make my son a quilt for his room that actually fit his bed. We love black and white in our house, plus my son loves animals so it felt like a perfect fit.

This quilt is also over at Dear Stella’s Blog along with some info on how to create this quilt for yourself – fabric amounts and tips on getting those triangles looking awesome.

You are so sweet Janet, thank you! Yes, I made my son’s pillow using some heat n bond no sew backing on the black and white dot fabric – cut out and ironed on. A fun project that requires no sewing, it’s nice to get a break from my machine every once in a while 🙂

Thanks Andrea! I think that the backing is by far my favorite from their collection, there are so many cute little critters – and even a narwhal!!

I am so happy that you like it Sheri! I am almost going overboard with the black and white in this room – but at least it is easy to add some color in now 🙂
