Feathers QAL – Fabric Love

So, I may be joining up a wee bit late – but better late than never right!

I am sharing my fabric picks for my Feathers QAL Quilt that I hope to begin today – fingers crossed for a sleepy toddler :)

This is an awesome Quilt Along that began at the beginning of January and is running until February 28th. I better get started right?! The quilt is a pattern by Alison Glass – called Feathers and it is STUNNING! The gals running the show are Nydiak over at Add-Crafter & Karen Dorey (Quilting_Fairy).

I chose to do a bright low-volume quilt – does that make sense? Well let me show you!

feathersqal10First up is a mix of Alison Glass’ own fabric line – Sunprint, Text

Next up is a rainbow assortment of Timeless Treasures – Sketch.

Last but not least we have Riley Blake – La Creme Basics, Swiss Dot.

And let me tell you they play VERY nicely together!

Here they all are in one big happy family!

I just need to pick up my solid cream fabric I plan on using as my background fabric and start sewing!

Thanks for stopping by friends!

Thank you Stacey! I am so happy I waited to use the Swiss dots… I was planning them for something else but they match the text print perfectly :)
