Forest Friends Quilt

Forest Friends Quilt
October 18, 2013 nicole

Finished up my Forest Friends Quilt yesterday afternoon and I just love how it turned out!

I added extra quilting to this one by sewing a straight line in between each of my others making the lines 1/2″ apart instead of 1″. Feels way sturdier and will be perfect for a kid on the go.

Also decided to go with a black and white stripe binding – I was looking at the fox’s tail and figured it would be more than appropriate.

This item is now available in my Etsy shop, measures 46″ x 47″ and is the perfect size for a toddler or small kid. I made sure to use a black backing so it may be used on the ground at the park to help hide grass and dirt stains it might accumulate while out on adventures.

Linking up with Finish it up Friday over at Crazy Mom Quilts and TGIFF – Thank goodness its finished friday is being hosted by Quilt Matters this week.

Love it all, but that binding is just adorable, especially because it matches the foxes tail. Too, too cute. Great job on the quilting as well.
